Questions that are asked frequently...

How do I get into design? How do I get a job doing UX?

Take classes, read books, find a mentor, make good stuff. Not necessarily in that order.

What UX books do you recommend?

I wrote down a list of useful design books (not necessarily specific to UX design) on the ol’ blog. Take a look at it and let me know what you think!

Who is your favorite designer?

Josef Müller-Brockmann; I mean, just look at his work!

Where do you get inspiration?

Aside from looking at other design stuff, it's important to read books (both fiction and non-fiction), go to museums, listen to cool music, talk with people, live life, and maybe most importantly, be observant of other people.

Are you available for freelance projects?

It depends on what it is and how my current schedule looks. Just use the form up above to contact me!

What are your rates? How much do you charge?

I would be happy to discuss rates once I know what the project is about. Timelines are important to know too.

Can I pitch you my startup idea?

Yes.

Will you help me build my startup?

Maybe.

Please?

Ok.
