After working as a graphic designer for a number of years, I wanted to do more. I started taking on different roles. By following user-centered design methods, I learned to apply my graphic design skills in new and different ways, using proven research methods to help lead product development and bring real, lasting value to customers.

UI Concept for the Alexa Site Audit for Amazon
This was a product that was designed to help small businesses learn the specific things they can do to improve their website and help grow their traffic. Our crawler would visit their site and check everything against a known set of criteria, and provide ratings and a set of tasks in the form of this report, the Site Audit. The core concept of the design was transforming the technical details and making them accessible to people without requiring a lot of technical expertise.
Despite meeting all the key design deadlines and completing key iterations based on usability test results, only a rudimentary early version shipped. Eventually, product managers killed off the remaining project for other priorities.
